With an estimation of over $20 trillion in the next two decades to come if demand moves at the rate it is currently.
With the huge expantion this companies are been exposed to currently the rete which employment in the field of green energy as expanded is another thing to celebrate.
Which has made for the employment of simple artisan, bycycle repairer to school teachers who now have a say in loads of field with alternative energy companies.

If you count all electric and hybrid cars, and all wind and tidal generators, yes, very much to do with alternative energy. So much that if China is the only source, there’s really no reason to bother investing in alternative energy companies outside of China (US, Japan, etc.).
If we all put our hopes on cold fusion (or LENR) for even a year and it turns out to be rubbish, then that’s a whole year that funding would have been withheld from these alternative energy companies and startups. That’s a year for them to fail to launch…afterall, who’s going to spend a fortune ramping up a solar farm or a wind farm, if we could all be buying Rossi boxes. Once Rossi’s invention hits the mainstream media, everyone will be stuck in a “let’s wait and see” before we build any more alternative energy technologies. This “wait and see” period could last up to 5 years. And if THAT happens, and THEN it turns out to be fake, the world will surely cement itself back into the mindset that mainstream energy production is the only way to live. That we shouldn’t have upset the status quo. This is a very inexpensive way for the oil companies to crush every alternative energy company out there in one sweeping blow. So, if this is real, I hope very few people find out about it until it is up and running, and then we can get rid of the oil companies, and keep the alternative energy companies. But, if it is fake, I hope no one hears about it and no one cares. I hope there’s no wait and see period and I hope we keep our resolve for alternative energy.
So here's a q: are or why aren't alternative energy companies hooking up w/ housing construction companies to promote their technologies?
